Easy solar cellphone charger

In all honesty I dont know why I didnt think of this one earlier.

I had a Sunforce 50012 1.8-Watt Solar Battery Maintainer laying around and I figured it would probably charge my Droid 4...and I was right.

So basically all you need is the panel, a basic 12v cellphone charger cord and a 12v socket with clips...I used my Roadpro adapter.

And that was it...worked like a charm on my Droid 4

I picked up that exact thing at Lowes last fall for around $15.00. I keep one in my Jimmy on the dashboard because I don't drive it that much right now. It keeps the battery topped off so I don't have to worry about starting it.

I grabbed mine on clearance at home depot last year also...probably paid just as much.

Better then using a handcrank radio to charge the phone IMO.
