Of course there will be executive orders, he will try anything to subvert the current system if it looks like he won't get his way. There is nothing new in that, we're just more attuned to it than others are.

Maybe it's the tin foil.

This douche-bag needs to take a long nap. Is he bored of giving working weapons to drug cartels already? Fucking traitorous prick and fucking traitorous federal agency. Suck a fat dick 'sporting purpose' clause.

Hate to say it, but I saw this coming...

The sad thing is I tried to point this out to pro-O gun owners and they wouldn't listen. Made their bed and all, I guess. Shrug

If this does go the way of exec order, I seriously hope he is impeached for violating the CotUS.

Executive Orders are not laws. Laws can only come from the Legislative Branch. The Executive Branch executes the laws. An EO banning "assault" weapons has no more authority than a company memo.

Granted. But do you really think that the same ATF that ran F&F wont follow an executive order of a de facto AWB?

I wouldn't put it past them to try an EO, and for departments to clamor and try to enforce it.

I do have to say that it would be a bad move.

He is already highly criticized. What with benghazi, the economy, and everything else. Many of the anti gun crowd would praise him for such a bold act. But most groups would crucify him. GOA, NRA, NAGR. Not to mention the pro gun politicians.

I don't doubt that he wants to do that. But I don't think his handlers would let him.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin
