So the liberal counter-argument would be that almost all auto deaths are caused accidentally. They just happen. While almost all gun deaths are caused intentionally. They are premeditated.

The article is very detailed. And more gun deaths are suicides than anything else, which supposedly "it's their body" right?

So unless you are suicidal, you have a much larger chance of dying on your way to work than via gun.

I've used this argument before. Ever see a Liberal go from 0 - raging lunatic in 1.3 seconds? Especially since they tend to view the ability to operate a 3,000-plus pound machine as more of a right than the actual right of keeping and bearing arms.

The government could actually ban cars and it would be no infringement of Constitutional rights. At least no more than banning candy or soda or trans fats.

Sometimes I actually feel like starting a "ban cars" movement. I lost my mom in a car accident when I was barely 21 and my siblings were still minors. Cars are freaking dangerous. If people can have a loved one shot and then lobby against guns, maybe I should lobby against cars. Nobody has the Constitutional right to drive a car, least of all 16 year olds.

I'm more scared to drive a car than I am to carry a gun.
