FatMan Christy is soooo ironic

Anyone else catch the illustrious New Jersey Governor's comment from the Sunshine Summit today?
He says we should never allow the cult of evil to take hold, as it is the antithesis of what it means to be a free American.

Pretty comical and disgusting comment coming from a man that heads up a state with one of the worst track records on "allowing" Americans to exercise their birthright of self defense.

What a friggin' asshat.

Yeah I don't even get how he is still running for Republican President with his dismal track record. Nobody even wants to be in New Jersey....please don't let him lead the country. (Luckily, nobody likes him.)

There are 12 Republicans still running and I would vote for any of them opposite Hillary. Christie vs Clinton: There is not even a moment's hesitation.
Without Trump in the race, Christie becomes the bombastic non-PC candidate. I don't see why people on the right hate him so much. He vetoed gun legislation, he destroyed the teacher's union and he pushed through property tax reform. Sure New Jersey is a hell hole but it was worse and getting worser with guys like Florio, McGreevy and Corzine.

Maybe he veto'd gun legislation, but what has he done to restore the rights of the people in that cesspool?

Sorry, he's a flaming RINO.

Exactly...people are still being arrested over there for having a gun in their car. People are still having trouble even buying a gun if they are in danger. You still can't even carry more than an ounce of pepper spray there. Camden and Trenton? Newark? Need more than that.

Yep, a true Republican Governor would see that the people of his state are suffering with so much crime and many are victims simply because they are being denied their basic right of self defense.
If he were not a typical politician weenie he could do something about this.
But he like many many like him will not do so if fear of angering the Bloombergs and such out there.

Wow such a lack of understanding of how government works. He's not the king, it doesn't work like that.

Bull.
Look at what our governor is doing at this very moment.

Christy could stop all funding very easily if he desired.
Start shutting down public works via lack of funding, kill the liberals pet projects by denying funding via the budget.

He shut down a bridge for piss sakes (even if it was through a proxy) out of spite.
You saying he couldn't figure out how to force change as they pertain to the rights of those being denied their right of self defense?

It's pretty sad when the liberal Democrat Wolf has more stones than the supposed Republican Christy.
I don't agree with Wolfs ideals one single bit, but at least he has shown he will stand by them, what has Christy done except bloviate?

For the past 7 years Obama has been forcing his will by controlling the purse strings, Christy cannot do the same if he so desired?

So you want him to shut down the government?

It has been proved that he knew nothing about the bridge deal and he immediately fired those responsible and has cooperated fully. Compare his response to a Democrat in the same situation. They would have stalled, not fired anyone and tried to ride it out. And don't forget, the Press was trying to sabotage him as well.

New Jersey is a liberal state run by a liberal legislature. Christie does his job. He took an oath to follow the NJ constitution and uphold its laws. He does that while fostering change in ways that the governor can. Yes people get arrested for bad gun laws, but he has pardoned most of them. He cannot issue an executive order restoring gun rights. It does not work that way, despite what Obama is trying to do. Notice that the SCOTUS has knocked him down repeatedly.
