FBI Banns Tannerite Targets In Several States
#1
From http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/08/06/fbi...-for-ieds/:

Quote:“The FBI considers its review of multiple incidents involving ETs is sufficient to make high confidence judgments about the potential risk posed by ETs in the United States,” the report stated.

Military officials told FoxNews.com it is unlikely extremists in Afghanistan use these products for IEDs.

The article starts off saying it is to help prevent forest fires, then moves on to the terrorism approach - which the military apparently disagrees with to some extent.

If they can't ban guns, can't buy up all the ammo, they are coming after targets now???

Next there will threads about all us stockpiling Tannerite and wipping out the supply so nobody else can get any and how our credit cards should be maxed out soon and how we're greedy and not sharing by clinging to things...oh, the horror of it all! Dodgy

It is actually very easy to make.

I can go to walmart, grab some cold packs, and a little pack of radiator stop leak. And I am set.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

That's what I was wondering. Since when does the FBI get to ban things?

Since they have automatic weapons and HRT teams.

Legal ban? Probably not.

Effective ban? Probably.

The thread title is misleading. The targets/product is banned in parts of some states.

Quote:An order issued Monday by the agency bans the targets in forests and grasslands in Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota.

How is this different than banning camp fires and/or open burning for the same reason?

Maybe it will create a run on tannerite and free up some ammo.

Or even "safe and sane" fireworks, because the grasslands are like tinderboxes?

Consider the source. Faux News.

In one case, you have a body elected by the people that issues the ban. In the other, you have an agency with no such powers issuing the ban.

Again, by what right, does the fbi have to do any such thing?
