FBI: Fists More Lethal than Shotguns & Rifles
VERY SHORT ARTICLE.

Here are a few inconvenient facts sure to anger and frustrate gun grabbers everywhere… das http://therighttobear.com/fbi-more-peopl...=140613RTB

This is the realization that I've been fearing for a long time now.

What's all this going to come to? Anyone who has martial arts knowledge can do some serious damage to another person. However the goal of martial arts is not to hurt anyone, its self preservation. Most do it for the love of the sport, the self-discipline it provides, the tie to other cultures. This is where I have a problem with MMA fighting. I fear it'll be twisted to fit someone’s agenda that "Nobody needs to know martial arts. It has no place in a civil society." Then what...laws introduced to ban knowledge of certain things!? Once some group starts being very vocal about it I'm afraid that's where we'll end up. That is a slippery slope...more like a mud slide.

I may be going off into a tangent here but this is the crap that weighs on my mind.

Even better are the statistics on how gun violence has only gone down, especially with it down 90% for children's.

I agree 100%. What the article should have mentioned was that "fights" occur far more often, therefore of course there would be more injuries due to "fists" Law abiding gun owners are responsible and arent going to use a firearm even remotely as quickly has some hot head will take a swing at someone.
