Federal government forced gun buyback
#1
according to the Washington Examiner & the NRA:
Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said that she and other gun control advocates are considering a law that would create a program to purchase weapons from gun owners, a proposal that could be compulsory. “We are also looking at a buy-back program,” Feinstein said. Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-N.Y., already discussed the possibility of a buy-back law for his state, but he made clear it would be a forced buyback.
Things are going absolutely insane !

Lets see them try.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

When they threaten the buy-back, the pro-gun lobby will be more than happy to accept magazine capacity limits and reinstatement of the AWB.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

I wouldn't expect much sanity from Feinstein & Cuomo.

And funding? Taxpayer dollars, of course.

Quote:Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said that she and other gun control advocates are considering a law that would create a program to purchase weapons from gun owners, a proposal that could be compulsory.

“We are also looking at a buy-back program,” Feinstein said today in a press conference. “Now, again, this is a work in progress so these are ideas in the development.”

Gov. Andrew Cuomo, D-N.Y., already discussed the possibility of a buy-back law for his state, but he made clear it would be a forced buyback.

I doubt Feinstein will get much except a lot of media attention.

Unfortunately, all my guns not lost in previous tragic boating accidents, were lost and washed out to sea during hurricane Sandy.
