LOL Mr. Glass Half Empty. They are cheap enough if it's ever overturned but until then it seems a great option for those with a AR pistol wanting something on its butt.

Get enough people writing letters there saying that their intent is to use it as a stock, they ATF may start to look at it as a stock. Then you have all those people that bought them getting a visit from the ATF to seize their unregistered SBR's. The ATF just recently seized a customer list from a company that was supposedly doing something with 80% lowers, I'll admit, I don't understand all the details in that case.

Didn't the ATF/Fed's recently start going after trusts after getting flooded with applications and the Dorne incident in CA? It would seem they can and do revisit their decisions when there's intent to circumvent the rules/laws.

I'm waiting for some idiot to buy an AR pistol and Sig brace, then attach all the bells and whistles to it like it were a rifle. Just a head's up everybody, you can't attach a forward grip to it...except for the Magpul angled fore grip.

Of course there is no way to answer the charge of 'it could happen' because Yes, anything could happen. Although seems like a hell of a way to go through life. Better I think to logically look at what is likely but that's just me.

We will just put you down as a NO for buying one of these and move on Tongue

Then those idiots would be breaking the law - depending on the bells and whistles. Which are you thinking about being illegal?

And where did you hear that you could add a angled fore grip?

Question #7, and I was referring to forward grips.

Good to know, thanks.

Is there a complete list out there of what is NOT allowed to be installed? I know a normal stock is a no no and I've heard that a forward grip is also not allowed but did not know this for sure.

That's pretty much it, unless you include devices or modifications that make your pistol shoot fully automatic.

As others have said, you can legally use the Magpul AFG on a pistol, but you cannot use a vertical grip.

You can also use the "magwell" grips on a pistol.

And you can mount a bipod to a pistol, but not a "grip pod."
