FL Deputy Threatens to Shoot Concealed Carry Licensee in the back

Does florida law state that you must tell the cops you are carrying concealed? But the cop is still a douche bag for telling him he would shoot him in the back.

Not knowing the law in Fla. I really can't say one way or the other. Someone needs to get that deputy under control though, he is a a lawsuit waiting to happen.

No duty to inform, as per this website.
http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/florida.pdf Must Inform Officer Immediately on Contact By Law? “NO” 790.06 …. The licensee must carry the license, together with valid identification, at all times in which the licensee is in actual possession of a concealed weapon or firearm and must display both the license and proper identification upon demand by a law enforcement officer. Violations of the provisions of this subsection shall constitute a noncriminal violation with a penalty of $25, payable to the clerk of the court.

OMG a GUN!!! WTF did the Deputy think he might see on the job? Some people are not cut out to be in Law Enforcement, this Deputy is one of them...
