My new baby!

And it came with the hardcase--which is getting Hello Kitty and Rainbow Brite stickers as soon as I get more of them.

I'm left shaking my head that a gay man would buy something SO obviously lacking in style.

I swear that thing was designed by the blind, epileptic, left-handed step-son of the guy who designs guns for Hi-Point Firearms.

Let us know how you like it, but please - no more photos!

I'm kidding. Sort of. Big Grin

I am interested in hearing about it though.

$1,175 for the rifle at Philadelphia Gun and Archery.

There's a similar one still on sale at Lock's Philadelphia Gun Exchange (Frankford and Unruh) for about $200 more.

Now I'm on the hunt for FNAR mags. Big Grin

You iz cray cray!

FNAR is sooo much fun to shoot. One of my buddies has one and let me play with it at Wicens Farm a couple weekends ago. Yeah it comes crazy with rails all over it... almost the whole gun is just one big rail. But nontheless it definitely the "BEWM BEWM POW" score is very high on this puppy. Cool

One of my buds is on the hunt for an FNAR Heavy. I think we got a club starting to form. Big Grin

Now that I have a new soon-to-be-banned item, my thoughts now turn towards a nice looking lever action double-barrel 10GA shotgun I saw at Lock's for $400. It is absolutely freakin' heavy, which should help control the recoil, could use some polishing up as well... but I've got my eye on it.

Ya I hear ya on how "popular" FNAR is... but it's definitely better than owning a HiPoint.

I dunno though, between FNAR and an AR-15, I like playing with the FNAR more "just cuz". With a bipod or a rifle pillow it's gonna be quite accurate. I kept my shots at 400y within the size of a 50-cent piece after my bud went through zeroing it out.

Indoors with a red-dot it is crap; you might as well just shoot it for fun (which is what I did) to get the "new gun" smell. Big Grin

Unfortunately the closest outdoor near me is only open for a couple more weekends and then I'll be stuck indoors til mid-March.

All the ones i've seen around here are going for at least 1600.

YIKES. $1,600 for an FNAR Heavy? Insane. For a rifle that is basically one giant rail, which puts a lot of people off and used to go for $900.. that's nuts.
