FNH FS-2000 Discontinued?
#1
I recently received the new FNH catalog (which is awesome BTW, its huge and has their military hardware too) and noticed that the FS2000 nor the F2000 was not included.
The only thing mentioning it was a replacement tri rail fore-end.

Is this now out of production?

The catalog is new and current for 2014.

There has been plenty of chatter about this for a while, now. They just aren't sought after. The shop I sold mine to didn't initially want to take it in trade, because they were unable to move their own stock of FS2Ks, even at the height of the buying craze.

With the improvements in the AR/SCAR platforms, the FS2K doesn't cut it when compared to those other weapons as far as modularity and familiarity go.

And now that the prospect on not being able to get one has hit people, they've jumped in price. I have been thinking about replacing the one I sold so I looked on Gunbroker and was shocked. They're easily $500 more than the prices they were going for when no one really wanted one. I think I'll just get a Tavor. I wasn't all that impressed with the one I had, it was just kind of cool.

They always reminded more of a Super-Soaker.

The Tavors are sweet, and there is really strong aftermarket support building. The god-awful heavy trigger issue looks like it is being dealt with by a couple of 3rd parties, but at a $300-$350 cost.
Tons of info here: BullpupForum - Tavor

Of course you might want to wait for this (2015) if you want something with forward ejection (out the side) and convertable 7.62x51/5.56x45/other options:
