[For Sale] 6" SS Ruger Security Six - Benefits Kim Stolfer
#1
100% of the purchase price is going to help Kim Stolfer deal with costs of his health issues. If you don't know what is happening, and how much we are all indebted to this man, then please check it out here (http://www.pa2a.org/thread-kim-stolfer-n...-right-now). So feel free to over pay for a good cause! Even if you don't try or win this, then please consider sending a dontation directly!

Stainless Steel Ruger Security Six .357 w/ 6" Standard Barrel (Used - S/N #155-75xxx) & Pachmayer Presentation Grips. Function checked 10/11/12 and it's got a nice trigger (IMHO)! Pictures attached.

[Pictures removed since auction is completed]

I'm selling this Auction Format with a $250 starting bid from myself (If no one takes it, I'll hold onto it and $250 goes to Kim).

Please PM bids to me and I'll make periodic updates.
If I get duplicate bids between updates, the first one to reach me at a given level has precedence.
Please let me know if you want to remain an anonymous bidder.
I'll close the bidding at 10PM on October 19th unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Transfer fee is the responsibility of the buyer.
Delivery: I'll meet you FTF at your choice of FFL in greater SEPA (Essentially Eastern LanCo and east, Lehigh Valley and south) or I'll split the FFL to FFL shipping cost with the buyer (Probably from American Arms and Ammo in Colmar, PA - but I'll ask around for deals).
Payment: COD or prepaid if shipped.
If you aren't committed to following through or aren't going to be able to pass PICS, then please don't bid.

Note: Because this is a benefit auction, I have received permission from RocketFoot to update (bump) this thread more frequently than would otherwise be allowed.

Very nice! Any other takers? Remember this is for a good cause! Kim deserves any help we can offer!

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

Time for a bump. We are still at $450.

I got a message a little earlier today from my first bidder and I thought I'd pass on a bit of it to you all.
Damn Good Fellow #1 Wrote:Gotta tell ya Dave, I'm a little disappointed by the rest of our gang here. It isn't like I went nuts ...
I was hoping to see more activity too.Huh

OK folks, lets see some movement here for Kim! This money is going for someone who has dedicated countless hours of his life and spent $$$ out of his pocket in the push to maintain and expand the freedoms that we to often only whine about.

So flood my inbox with bids!!! Help a friend to all of us and get a fun gun as a souvenir.

Many of you know me either in person or by my time in the community. But if anyone has any concerns about all of the money getting to Kim or you not getting the gun, and that is holding you back, that's OK - let me know and I'll reach out and we can find a mutually acceptable recognized member to hold the funds until the gun is transferred to you and then they can pass the funds directly to Kim's benefit.

BTW: thanks mod(s) for the banner placement!!!

Thanks for putting this together. I commend what you are doing. If the top bidder approves, I think you might have more luck doing this in raffle format. I don't think I'm alone in saying I can't donate that much, but I bet a bunch of us could donate a few dollars, or guns toward a raffle (maybe hit up site sponsors for raffle prizes too). Then you're relying on a lot of us being in a position to be a bit charitable, rather than a couple to do much more.

Thanks for the idea, guys. I'll consider it going forward for other items, but for this item, I'm going to stick to the auction format since it is already in progress. Part of it is also the complexity - at 5$ ticket we would have to have sold 90 tickets already. and that takes a lot of time and administrative effort.
