Southport, CT --(
Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is proud to announce the

higher capacity cylinder is sure to please fans of the powerful .22
Magnum cartridge, and the 6.5-inch barrel helps the .22 Magnum reach
more of its velocity potential.

I really think that looks like a really nice piece.

I have the single six and I saw the single ten.

If the single ten is a convertible like the single six, there would not really be a need for a single nine in .22 mag I would think.

I like the .22 magnum cartridge but it is just a few dollars cheaper than 9 MM so I figure the .22 magnum cartridges not cost efficient.

The .22 magnum might make a nice carry cartridge for someone very recoil sensitive or someone who has arthritic hands.

Just a thought on the .22 magnum.

God bless!!

Honestly, I like it.
Everytime we look the other way when someone else loses rights we disagree with, we make it easier to lose the rights we support.

I like it too, it's on a short list - are they available yet? I wish it didn't have the fiber sight on it though.

Several things to note.

1) I do not see the Single Six available now from Ruger's website.
They must have quit production of this model.
It shoots very, very smooth and is very accurate out of the box.
Comes with .22 LR and .22 Mag cylinder.

2) They are still producing the Single 10.
The Single 10, unlike the Single Six, is strictly .22 LR (no extra .22 Mag cylinder).

3) The Single Nine is now on Ruger's website.
It is a .22 Mag only firearm.
If it shoots as smooth as the Single Six, and I have no reason to doubt it would not, it should be a very nice part to someone's collection.

Also, for what it is worth, I see the .357/9 MM convertible single action revolver back on Ruger's website.
I don't know if it was there all along and I did not see it or if they just brought it back.
I always thought it would be nice to have a hand gun that fires both so you can shoot less expensive ammo at the range yet have more power if needed - all in one gun.
They also make a convertible with .45 ACP/.45 LC.

Thanks for letting me know the Single 9 is out there.

God bless!!

I have a gorgeous stainless Single Ten with with fiber optic sights that i'm selling right now.

Love the gun, it's beautiful and shoots great, but i want to use the money to fund another project. PM me if anyone is interested. Smile
