Galco Kingtuk break in
#1
So I just bought this holster for my G27 and was looking for any holster break in tips. Also it seems to have a alot of retension to the point it is difficult to draw and re-holster. Will that break in more to with wear or is that how these just are? I don't mind the retension that much but thought it should be a little easier. Thanks for any input.

Just keep flexing the leather in your spare time. The more you wear it, the more it will conform to hug your waist. Also when you are not using your G27, just let it sit in your holster. Eventually it will slightly loosen up a little bit. Like a baseball glove or a new pair of running sneakers, in time it will get better. I don't have a Kingtuk, but a lot of my friends do and they swear by it.

It will get better just keep using it. I carried my 27 in a KingTuk exclusively before switching to OWB carry last year. If you ever find the leather too slick and pulling your pants down, stick some moleskin on the back of it Wink
