Giffords, Kelly Launch Gun Control Lobbying Effort
#1
With all do respect Gabrielle but I didn't do it.

Former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her husband
launched a political action committee aimed at curbing gun violence on
Tuesday, the second anniversary of the Tucson shooting that killed six
people and left her critically injured.

I figured that these two "Pro 2A gun owners" would come up with something. It was bound to happen after she was shot. The problem is that she has a solid in with the House, her former assistant took her seat, so virtually anything that she proposes is liable to end up in legislation. Sad

I knew it!
I was waiting for it.
I'm not sure how in control she is of her own decisions, but I suspect some manipulation. Hope I'm wrong.

I knew it was coming, and actually I'm surprised it took this long. I guess they were waiting for the perfect timing.

I'm waiting for some of the parents of the slain children in CT to become well-compensated political voices for the left as well.

Quote:"In response to a horrific series of shootings that
has sown terror in our communities, victimized tens of thousands of
Americans, and left one of its own bleeding and near death in a Tucson
parking lot, Congress has done something quite extraordinary - nothing
at all," Giffords and Kelly wrote in the op-ed.

Not true. The first thing Congress did was go out and hire armed security for their members.

Laughable
Obviously not enough terror in the communities to get them to snitch.

More straw men and more blaming the law abiding folks WHO DIDN'T DO IT.

Listening to this same crap for all my life.
Different spewers, same old spew.

There are no laws ever passed or that ever could be passed that would have any effect on one who would kill his mother

This is all over the news today and it makes me angry. On the front page of Fox it shows that the NRA head and Kelly are "facing off" about gun control.

I HATE when they use "victims" to try to control people. Of course Kelly is a way cool astronaut and he's going to be using his poor, poor wife as an example, and that's going to leave everyone thinking the NRA guy is hard and cold. Its such a load of crap. And then they get Giffords up there, obviously handicapped from her experience, which of course was very bad and very traumatic....

.....but then again, how traumatized are people who are almost raped? Almost murdered? Almost robbed? Almost tortured? And they AREN'T because they had a gun???? What about those who did die, or did get traumatized, and they didn't have a gun?

And how much do you want to bet Kelly has a gun at his house? And/or armed security guards for him and his wife?

Some of the Sandy Hook parents are, I think, trying to stand up for gun rights, but they aren't getting much publicity over it. Of course.

Giffords and Kelly are just making me mad, predictable as they are. And it makes me mad that the NRA guy doesn't have a chance debating Kelly, in the eyes of the compassionate sheeple masses watching CNN.

Why do you think that the Dem controlled Senate scheduled it this way? They did it to make the NRA look bad and to show how compassionate they are to people who have been horribly affected by gun violence. They give two shits about the truth.
