Going GLOCKless?
#1
Well, I'm considering taking the plunge and selling my last Glock [19]. I neither shoot it any more nor carry it. I had a Glock 30sf but sold it to buy a Ruger SR9c. That was a great move for me since I am more accurate with my SR9c and it is a lot more comfortable to carry. There's nothing wrong with my Glock 19, but I just find Glocks boring. I don't want to go out and buy a new gun because I am saving up for a new truck. I'd rather sell something I don't shoot often and buy something new than just buy something new and not sell anything. Am I crazy for going "GLOCKless"? I know they are reliable and there are many accessories for it, but they just don't really do anything for me.

Not crazy for getting rid of something you don't need, use or want.

Well, sure it can get boring to shoot a gun that has zero malfunctions. I mean, there's never any surprises.....it's always just bang bang bang. If you want a little more excitement on range day then I would go with something else. Big Grin

So you're saying he should get a 1911?

I have a lot of other guns that are just as reliable, lol. It's just the trigger is nothing special, it has a weird grip (not so much the angle, but the grip itself - it's like holding a 2x4), and it's ugly.

Hahaha, it's not that I hate Glocks, I just like better platforms. They're good guns, but not my favorite.
