Got a Max-11 upper for my M11/9
#1
This was long overdue. The new upper is like night and day compared to the stock upper. You could damn near shoot it with one hand and all the rounds will go into the center of the target.

Now I just need my Bowers Vers9 suppressor to get approved. It just shipped to my dealer but I'm hearing that form 4's are taking 11-15 months!

Yeah no kidding. I've been trying all year to decide between a MAC or an Uzi. Yeah I know totally different price point and ballgame between the two. Honestly your configuration there is the nicest looking setup I have seen in my limited searching. Others I've found have turned me off more than anything.

I'll make that decision for you. Get a MAC! It's much more adaptable than an Uzi. Uzi's are cool, but it's always just gonna be an Uzi. With a Mac, it can be a machine pistol, submachine gun, a SAW firing 5.56x45, and soon will be firing 12 guage mini shotshells from drums. There are also 22 kits available.

Oh, and I almost forgot, Alliance Armament is planning a 5.56 BELT FED upper.

Here's some Mac porn:

Time out. You mean to tell me that I can make my M10 look like that.
I have to admit, my MAC has been reduced to collecting dust somewhere in the back of my safe for about 10 years now. The novelty of wasting .45's in a rapid manner kinda wore off. I knew you could do certain spiffy things to them but never thought it to be worth putting that kind of time and money into. Where can I learn more? What are they worth now? It may be time to show the old girl some love.

BTW, When my wife starts bitching I'm blamming you. Tongue

You can learn more on the MAC forums at UziTalk.

That SABRE upper just came out like two months ago. There are only a handful out there. But they are running full production and should be releasing more soon. Right now it's just for the M10 but they are also working on one for the M11/9. There is a wait list for both models.

A MAC 10 is probably worth about 3,500 to 5,000 in todays market, depending on condition.

The company that makes my upper is Lage. They also have similar uppers for the MAC10. Here is their website:

I heard they are still operating, but that's all hearsay at this point. Although I can believe that they are operating, because Bowers just received an approved form 3 for my suppressor on Thursday.
