Congrats and best wishes to you.
I have to say that I am envious.
There are three types of people in the world:
Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.

I all ready told my girlfriend if I ever hit the lottery we're buying 100 acres of land in Iowa, Montana, or Wyoming, building a cabin, building a barn or two, and avoiding society.

Sorry it has been awhile since I have responded. SOOO much work now (other than job) that there is no time to do much of anything else.

Wife picked mulberries and blackberries today from out back!!!

Our Cherry tree had 4 - 5 gallon buckets of cherries on it. All picked by the neighbor this year. We were not ready to can/pie/alcohol/dry them. The neighbors made us a cake, Mrs Publican made 1 pie from the few we did keep. AND neighbor is making wine as well.

One of our 2 red delicious trees is doing well.

Let me attach a few pics:

one Keet died in shipping, one died at our place so that leaves 9 healthy, growing critters. Wife liked them so much that 15 more are on order Wink

One of the many tasks was adding solar lights to the barn and the flag pole. In the barn pic, you might be able to see the small black collector right above the open door by the roof line. The Guineas will be moved into the right side of the barn once they outgrow their temp home and can fly up to the roosts I built for them.

And if any body driving by wants to know what the new folks are like, I added this as a "We are here now" statement.

It is amazing how tired I am after each day BUT I am loving it all. Lost 13 Lbs. since moving. Hard work, lots of water and no time to sit on my arse and eat/snack.

Will add more as I can.
