Got my M&P Shield in 9mm Today
#1
My guy, Adam Quinby, came through for me and at a great price of just over $400. Can't wait for the new hip to heal so I can get to the range. I think I might sell my Kahr P9 and use the S&W as the replacement. I'll see how much I like the new gun first.

It's the "BILL OF RIGHTS" not the bill of "needs"

There was a time in my life when I could do that. I was a kid and didn't know how good I had it living isolated surrounded by woods. Now if I were to fire one shot in my driveway, you'd see me on the evening news.

That's a great price. My dad picked one up for $500 at Targetmaster in Delco. It's a nice little gun. I really like the positive reset on the trigger. It's a night and day difference from my full size M&P .40.

My friend just picked up a 9mm Shield last week. I'm still waiting for him to bring it over or meet me at the range so I can shoot it. I think he paid $475 out the door.

Bob, you got a good gun. I love my shield and carry it in a pocket holster everywhere. The only thing I don't care much for is that it is Massachusetts compliant, meaning it has a 10 pound trigger. But I was in the list for 7 months and jumped at the first shield my FFL received.

Good luck with it, that's a hard one to find. I got one for my wife for a birthday present, ordered it on May 12th & it took over 3 months to come in, I hear that the wait is way worse now. She really likes it as do I, accurate, nice trigger, feels good in the hand. I got her a Crimson Trace laser for it for Christmas.
Good luck with it & with your hip.

I was wondering if you got yours yet, Jason. I'll be ready very soon to get out to the range. We'll have to arrange a day to meet up.

Thank you! Hip is great. They just won't give me clearance to drive until 4-6 weeks after surgery. I still haven't hit the 4 week mark. I'm sure I can drive right now but I'm not risking an accident and all that would possibly come with it. But, soon! Very soon!
