ROTFLMFAO!!!!
Anybody wanna tell me how this pompous marionette ISNT a dictator?

Guess going to bed with OhBlowMe doesnt get you special privileges after all:

Quote:WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a "massive and unprecedented intrusion" into how news organizations gather the news.

The records obtained by the Justice Department listed incoming and outgoing calls, and the duration of each call, for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters, general AP office numbers in New York, Washington and Hartford, Conn., and the main number for AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery, according to attorneys for the AP.

In all, the government seized those records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and May of 2012. The exact number of journalists who used the phone lines during that period is unknown but more than 100 journalists work in the offices whose phone records were targeted on a wide array of stories about government and other matters.

Is this even legal? Again, Holder and other top level officials need to be in jail.

I LOVE IT!!!!

Maybe the news media will start to wake up and realize that they need to quit covering up what is going on with this administration, once it starts to happen to them. Sometimes it takes being the one that is having their rights tromped on to make people stand up and say we had enough.

In the beginning a Patriot is a scarce man, Hated, Feared and Scorned; but in time, when his cause succeeds, the timid join them, because then it cost nothing to be a Patriot.... Mark Twain.

I was thinking the same thing. ....but then again it makes you wonder if there is somebody else, higher up, working for these lame stream media companies who is telling their reporters to ignore these incidents or report them as minimumally as possible? Undecided

Not going spend too much time on the story but it appears these were phones within the WH and they are investigating the illegal leak of what looks like pretty serious stuff.

It's amazing how you find ways to disagree with people even after admitting that you didn't fully read the article.

These were not just phones within the white house; these were also personal phones. And no matter how "serious" an investigation is, it needs to be carried out in a legal manner with RAS and a court-ordered warrant. The executive branch does not have the constitutional authority to grant warrants. Whether they got a warrant or not is unclear in the article, but it's doubtful.

Well, O finally pissed off his media, and both sides of the isle in congress.

It looks like his house of cards might be tumbling.

From http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/05/...cord-grab/

Quote:Concern about what the AP’s top executive called an “unprecedented intrusion” quickly spanned party lines.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, a Democrat, said he’s “very troubled” by the allegations.

“The burden is always on the government when they go after private information -- especially information regarding the press or its confidential sources. I want to know more about this case, but on the face of it, I am concerned that the government may not have met that burden,” Leahy said in a statement.

The AP also reported that the Justice Department got records for the main AP number in the House of Representatives press gallery. One congressional source told Fox News this allegation in particular “is not sitting too well” with congressional leadership.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., said he plans to ask Attorney General Eric Holder “pointed questions” on the issue at a hearing Wednesday.
