Graph: Obama’s National Lead Based Entirely on Over-Sampling Democrats

The real take-away which I have mentioned the times I blog national polls is that many of those national polls are HORRIBLE for Obama, namely the ABC/Washington Post and CBS/New York Times polls where you have large Democrat over-samplings but rather small leads for Obama. This means if Obama doesn’t meet or beat his stellar 2008 turnout advantage he’s in for a drubbing on election day.

These over-samplings serve a few purposes but mainly drive down enthusiasm for Republicans while assisting the Obama campaign with “bandwagon” supporters who simply like being on the winning team (they’re real and they count).

OK... I used to work in radio and TV, in NC and MS, so I just thought EVERYONE had this figured out by NOW, but...

Do you KNOW how ABC/NY Times/Reuters/Gallup/et.al. actually TAKE a poll? They yell around the newsroom - "Who here DOESN'T like Obama?" - and there's your "scientific poll results." Rolleyes

I've been saying this for a few months. The polling data they're trumpeting is BS. All you have to do is read the comments in yahoo political articles to see that Obama is in deep, deep trouble.

There's another reason... so that if Obama loses the libs can claim there was cheating, after all, how else could someone who has lead in the polls lose on election day, right ? Then they could say now lets all go riot & show that we're not happy with the results. If that happened could Obama declare a state of emergency & hold power with another executive order ?
