Hubby just told me he heard Obama played golf instead of attending the funeral of the general killed in Iraq.

Some commander in chief he is.

Hey, at least he's consistent about SOMETHING.

Was this the general who was killed by the Afghani soldier? Because i thought the Resident said al qeada was dead...?

That's the General.....

On the same talk show I guess they said Tiger Woods played like 280 rounds of golf this year. Obama is at around 230 or something. Except that it's Tigers actual JOB......

Well, Justin, he did take time out to address a violent criminal in Missouri, so we should give him at least SOME credit for not being 100% apathetic. World is taking a dump, and I actually think the best thing to happen for the world is that Resident Obama stay on the golf course till the end of his term.

Many Americans were disappointed in the lack of White House presence at this week’s funeral for the highest-ranking officer killed in combat since Vietnam.

Major General Harold Greene, the 2-star general killed in Afghanistan August 5, was laid to rest Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery, according to myfoxdc.com.

It was a beautiful service that was only missing one important attendee:

The President of the United States.

Also missing were the vice president and the secretary of defense.

Photos of the service, posted on the internet from news services all over the globe, showed a riderless horse, the general’s children touching the casket and the flag presented to his widow by Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno.

Scheduling conflicts. The General failed to note the administration's vacation plans when he decided to die.

And yet.....he is sending delegates to the Brown funeral.

WH Official to Attend Brown Funeral http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/michael...al-n187676

So now we know who the valuable humans are in our country, and who the disposables are.

I am seething. Obama isn't even worthy to be spit in his face. And it has nothing to do with his skin color. You send a General to his death in a war and your butt shows up at the funeral. PERIOD.

The Defense Secretary attended the General's funeral.

"Just to summarize the facts in this convoluted affair: Hagel did attend the Greene funeral. Obama and Biden did not. Nixon did not attend the Dillard funeral, and Bush did not attend the Maude funeral. There is no "tradition" of presidential attendance at generals' funerals that Obama "bucked." The Hagel misinformation (passed on erroneously by me) came from Drachenberg's tweet, amplified in the Legal Insurrection post. The Nixon and Bush misinformation was a deliberate falsehood spread by Davis."
