Quote:08/01/2013 Referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in addition to the Committees on Ways and Means, and Education and the Workforce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.

It's the "BILL OF RIGHTS" not the bill of "needs"

Epidemic? Are they serious? I would expect to see something like this in the late 80s/early 90s. Since that time, gun crime and crime in general has gone down. This just shows that they will never give up on disarming law abiding citizens

But gun violence IS an epidemic among their constituents, just not the bulk of the population. Another case of punishing everyone for the sins of a few.

This will go nowhere. I don't think it even comes to a vote. It is about as symbolic as repealing Obamacare.

My grandson just picked up one of my BB guns and handed it to me. It wasn't being violent and didn't start when he picked it up nor when I took possession of it. It must be defective. It's a Daisy Buck model. Has anyone heard of any recalls on this model.
BTW,; I have a Remington Targetmaster .22 sitting right around the corner, it doesn't seem to have any issues with violence either.

Any trolls or liberals reading here can rest easy, neither is loaded and the Remington .22 doesn't have a bolt so it's non-functional unless someone uses it as a club. No grandchildren were harmed in the making of this post.

You harm your children merely by their being in the presence of a fireant.

Most of us don't let our kids play around fireants.

We don't play around them. They (Fire ants) make darn good targets for B B gun practice. If we can't find them on dirt, (Less chance of ricochet). we practice our focusing skills with magnifying glasses. (Make them live up to their nameBig Grin)

And why is my subject too long when I reply and don't change anything in the subject?

There is no gun violence epidemic. Gun Violence is at an all time low since they started keeping track of it.

I think they left out a couple of words in the title of the bill... I'd bet this is a bill to stop the gun buying epidemic
