Heckler to be unopposed as Bucks D.A.
#1
Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler, up for reelection in November, will be unopposed, according to county officials.

John Cordisco, chairman of the Bucks County Democratic Party, said Tuesday that the party will concentrate on other offices up for election, including prothonotary, sheriff, and recorder of deeds.

No challenger surfaced within the Republican Party either, according to Deena Dean, director of the county's Board of Elections. The deadline for candidates to file paperwork to run for various county positions was 5 p.m. Tuesday.

I guess everyone chooses to overlook the dead kid from Sellersville, the dead 98-year-old lady from Warminster and his latest stunt, which was to refuse to prosecute a priest from the Shrine of Czestochowa who raped a woman who came to him for counseling.

Why did he walk out?

I had heard he didn't like the tone of what was being said, particularly by Kessler. This is second hand info, I do not have direct knowledge of why, but that is what I heard.
