Requirements:
- No 9mm (yeah, I KNOW... *sigh*)
- Not a fan of ultralight mini revolvers, you can drop the weight on a revolver but not its width, so I'm looking for slim
- Weight is not a problem
- I prefer inside waist carry, 2-3 o' clock position, but I might also switch to 4.
- I'll consider pocket carry an option, but I'm a creature of the city and of tech things--so both my pockets tend to have things in them (earbuds, subway tokens, house keys).
- Absolutely NO to striker fire.
Kimber Solo seems to be pushing up the ladder but I don't like 9mm so I'd prefer something else (.45, etc). I want to test one out though before I commit. Better options out there? I'm looking for something that has great accuracy, I don't care about recoil/weight, I do care about cartridge type/power/grain and I just cannot deal with width, sharp edges and bulges. Preferably like to install my own sticky grips to help prevent unwanted moving/shifting.
It's winter so I can pocket carry in the coat but summer's coming, which means shitty in-waist holsters.
