I wish I could load 500 rounds in 45 minutes with my Lee turret press Angry

I need to splurge for a progressive press one of these days.

Man you're lucky. The last time i reloaded 500rnds, a handgun didn't fall out of my reloaderTongue

Yes, the xl650 is pretty damn good. I have problems with the plastic index ring, it breaks sometimes when a primer gets jammed. I want to have someone make me one out of aluminum..

No shit? 45 minutes?

I bought 200 rounds of 9mm last week at Wmart and it took that long for them to find the guy with the key.

Been there done that from a single stage to a dillon 550. One day I decided I had enough and bought a 650 with the case feeder, best move I ever made. Auto indexing and auto case feeder is where it's at if you want to crank out some rounds.

Make sure your primer seater is indexed perfectly and you will have no issues, my 650 runs like a swiss watch when properly adjusted.

I guess i'm going to have to watch the classifieds section on the pafoa. Maybe I can get one at a good price haha

I figure when I buy a progressive, I can sell the Lee Classic + all of the accessories I have to recoup some of the money.

Honestly, I can't recall the last Dillon 650 I seen for sale in a classified add on any local site. See them on the bigger sites here and there.

It only happens when i go too fast. Sometimes a primer jumps up and gets lodged sideways and explodes (and that isn't fun) or the ring breaks.
