It seemed like it took forever to break in, and he's had quite a few FTE even after. Another thing I don't like about it is the grip is large enough to accommodate a "high capacity" magazine but they stuck with their single stack pistol mags, which IMO is a real shame because it had real potential to compete with the kel-tec sub2000 even without folding in half. They do make a high cap. mag for it, but still I believe it only holds 16rds. Now having said all that, I do like them. It's a cool idea and reasonably priced. Plus they have a lifetime, no questions asked, warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up just for fun like you said, but I wouldn't rely on it to defend myself.
My guns have killed less people than Obama's ATF has.

Check out the CX4 Storm. Here's one I made into a flat-top:
![]() I don't have a good pic of it fully assembled, but you get the idea. Took 30 round Beretta 92 mags and worked flawlessly. Also got decent groups, could hit a pie plate at 100 yards all day long without even trying. A good shooter could probably get it even tighter.
I swear I saw one on PAFOA for around $180. I nearly shit when I saw the price.
Nevermind. It was a handgun.

Good luck finding either of these right now, at least at a reasonable price.

I don't even know how one could be hand made, as the stock, grip, and fore end are all one piece, and screws/bolts need to be attached thru it into the rifle in several spots. I just googled it and found no photos. If someone had created such a beast they would SURELY have posted photos somewhere.
