"Disassembly" would be number one. Freaking HORRIBLE.

Ten round mag - and mine would never accept more than 9.

The charging handle constantly needed to be checked/tightened so it wouldn't fall off and get lost.

I had to put a paper bag on it to shoot it in public.

What I liked:

Very handy and quick to get on target.

Quite accurate.

It only cost $140 new. (at the time)

And best of all - I used it for 3 years and sold it for what I paid for it to fund my AR15 build!

I can't disagree, but to me the disassembly thing is not a big issue for a home defense gun, though it IS for a "battlefield" weapon. The looks can be greatly improved with the ATI stock. A little loctite or the aftermarket cocking lever will correct that issue, but yeah, until i loctited his, my god son's had the same problem you had.

The mag capacity is the one real big draw back of the weapon. Of course, in NY State, the 9mm holds 30% too much ammo to be legal.....truly amazing.

Bet they sell a shit ton of the .45 acp 995 carbines up there now.

I had a 995ts 9mm, mine was accurate, reliable & ate every kind of ammo I ran through it. The only issue I had with mine was mag seating, no bang if you didn't smack their ass sometimes, & I didn't like that they're a bitch to break down(didn't bother to attempt). It's a fun plinking gun & not bad for hd, & I would imagine they're better than sub2000's(Owned a Kel-Tec SU16, I thought it was flimsy & it sure hated steel cased ammo). I have a slight regret getting rid of my 995, but I'm not heartbroken about it. Fun little gun if you can find one reasonably priced, although I've heard people having issues with the 15rd mags.

i've had mine about 3 years, 995ts. not a bad plinker and you can't beat the warranty, lifetime. i had a squib round jam the barrel, sent it back and they sent me a whole new rifle and threw in a magazine for my trouble. i recently purchased a 15 round magazine at a show, didn't have a chance to test it yet.

Did you buy the carbine or pistol?
You have a right to protect yourself and a duty to protect your family.
