Home Depot now requires you to show LTCF

I had sent an email to corporate telling them the way that the store policy was explained to me and asking if it was correct that they required anyone with a firearm to have and show a license. Also stated that I did not like that policy and would take my business to Lowes if that was the policy.

I got an email back that said "Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that our policy isn't to your
expectations.

I will share this with our Operations Team."

Sounds like they didn't confirm or deny it. What I would have done differently, is to ask for clarification. Something along the lines of: "The way it was explained to me was unclear, what is corporate policy regarding the matter?"

Likely the response you got was a copy and paste if lucky, or even just an auto response.

I responded asking if she was confirming that they required a firearm license to be allowed to carry and that an employee can demand to see it. I have not gotten a response back

Do they also check citizenship on all the day workers out front? TSC in Brodheadsville has no problem with ANY form of carry. Some of the regular customers do, and no employee there would even look twice.

I will continue to carry, either OC, or CC, depending on the weather, in my local Home Depot. I have had nothing but positive reactions while carrying in these stores.

Unless I see a No Weapons sign at the entrances, I see no reason to change what I have been doing.
My guidance counselor said I wouldn't amount to anything... Lucky guess! Dodgy

Here's a different spin on Home Depot:

went into the Lancaster Co. one off of Fruitville Pike last Saturday. I had on a NRA hat. The greeter said he liked my hat and asked if I had any spare ammo for him. I told him no, I had just enough for myself. As I started to walk away he stopped me and asked if I had heard about an incident in MI where a CC citizen stopped a man who was stabbing/threatening a HD employee with a hypodermic needle. I replied that I recalled hearing about that and jokingly said that if anyone starts waving a needle at him, no worries, I had him covered. He thanked me, shook my hand and said it was good to know there were sensible folks around.
