Problem is, they're being purchased by DHS, not USMIL. So who are they going to war with?

A civilian defense force won't be constrained by those pesky things like the Posse Comitatus act.

From Meriam Webster's website:
Quote:Definition of CITIZEN
1
: an inhabitant of a city or town; especially : one entitled to the rights and privileges of a freeman
2
a : a member of a state
b : a native or naturalized person who owes allegiance to a government and is entitled to protection from it
3
: a civilian as distinguished from a specialized servant of the state
So... where's my ammo? Shrug Somehow, I don't think Obama actually meant civilians when he said civilians. Rolleyes

What is scary is that Obama apparently wants a de facto military force intended solely for use on US soil...

Who are we going to war with? Look around at the crap in the Middle East. The whole area is presently a ticking timebomb.

Federal law enforcement (DHS) will take over when our military is overseas fighting.
Once we are at war Posse Comitatus is going to be the least of our worries.

As the article stated - if a civilian purchases 2 or 3 boxes of ammo the gov is investigating.

So what is really going on there?

This sounds like a type of gov straw purchase.

After all, how many thousand for the Social Security Admin and several thousand for the National Weather Service.

Are those departments really getting those rounds?

I highly doubt it.

They will be channeled either to DHS, FBI, CIA, or ATF.

They just happen to think we are gullible enough to buy into the idea that they are actually purchasing these rounds for departments that are non-aggressive in nature.

The two at the top: The Scarecrow and Mrs. Bling.

That is my thoughts.

God bless!!

Hmmmm, may be time for me to pick up another thousand rounds of ammo for the AK. I mean, OBAMA might ask me to join the new Civilian Police Force. I wouldn't want to have to make them buy me ammo or anything.
