Hosting Kids for a Party, And Carrying
#11
OK, I'll be the asshole respondant. It's your house and if you're tying yourself that tightly in knots over it, you're already screwed. Do what you think is best. At 13, I'd think your daughter has already decided how she'll deal with it. Other parents can be really uptight assholes.

Srsly, though, we hosted parties back in the day and everybody knew we were responsible for everybody's safety if they were on our turf, but it was different times and different morals. I think you guys will do fine.
I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every minute of it.

My stepson's new girl is vegetarian and so is ALL of her four kids she's raising. When we have cookouts, we advertise the menu, ahead of time. I conceal carry. As a result, she brings veggie burgers for her and the kids and I cook them on the grill for them. We provide the rolls, side dishes, drinks and dessert. I am NOT going out of my way to accommodate your "special" lifestyle. As for the transgender issue, I'd feed it to, if it were hungry, so long as it liked what was on the menu.

Yes, it's your house as others have opined.
However it's also your ass in a sling if some kid ends up hurt or killed while on your property, be it from a gunshot, a swimming pool, falling down the steps or a dog bite.

My opinion is that concealed or pocket carry with a good holster is the way to go for the day.

I don't trust any court to see my "side" of the story if a child is hurt or killed on my property, and if a firearm were to be involved...

As for the mixed up kid, don't know what to tell ya.
Get some tufu burgers and celery sticks.

I'm open carrying. I'm also in the kitchen with Molly, letting the kids run the house. One of the moms dropping their kid off is someone I dated about fifteen years ago, so that was mildly awkward, LOL. The transkid is the only one not annoying me, and he's pretty funny. None of them could give a shit about me carrying. One of them asked if it was a real fun, the other turned to her and said, "Duh! Why would he carry a fake one?"

Sounds like it's going well then. Funny how the "weird" kid is usually the least problems.

Happy to be wrong, and nobody left in tears! Though with that many pre or newly pubescent girls running around its hard to picture someone not crying for reasons that don't make any damn sense. And yes, I'm counting the 'boy' because 'he' is still going to be bleeding out until 18 and the drugs to stop it are permitted. I remember that age, and the girls being best friends and then bitter enemies within minutes--and then back--with no possible reason other than the onset of a really bad cramp or the hormone fairy flipping some random switches in the brain.

Sheesh...my oldest daughter is 11...she's going to be a nightmare when it hits, I can see it already. There's been times already I swear she was about to start.

I went through it with my 3 girls, you have to have some fun with their misery, when they started and got bitchy i would walk around the house sniffing the air, when one would ask what i was doing i would say, i smell blood, within seconds WHAM, was the sound of a bedroom door, i would just smile and make howling sounds.

Do it, it's fun.
When all around you is falling apart, grab another beer and smile.

That's funny!

I have all boys....so I just have to deal with inter-sibling testosterone issues and urine seeping into every possible crack of the toilet seat and base. Dodgy
