Just heard about this.

Quote:The Republican led house has voted, for the 37th time, to repeal President Obama’s health care law, even though GOP lawmakers know the Senate will not follow suit.

Democrats have called efforts to defund or partly scale back the Affordable Care Act a waste of time -- even an obsession.

37th time a charm?
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins. -Ben Franklin

These types of votes are worthless.
A gun rack in a pick-up is not for holding guns. Its a place for women to hold on to. Smile

I wish they would stop wasting time with this.

They need a NEW plan to take up to replace Obamacare with, they can't simply vote to repeal it at this point.

They may not be able to repeal it due to the Senate being controlled by the liberals, but it COULD possibly show the states that THEY can repeal it, and put a stop to this madness...

Well, depending on how the upcoming mid-term election goes....

I hope conservatives hold the house and take the senate.

Then they can vote again and bye-bye Obamacare.

I know, I am dreaming. But I can hope, can't I???? Please?

Barring a veto-proof senate, only a sea change regarding the media's biased coverage on Obamacare will sink it.

yep, they're mostly wasting time and money to do a lot of nothing.

correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't the house just simply refuse to allocate funding for obamacare?

it's not going to happen. the republicans don't have the guts to repeal social programs and have a habitual problem of making them even worse, every damn time they have the votes to do it.

They probably wont because they (the repubs) will be painted by the dems as having taken "healthcare" away from the poor and stupid (who will believe the dem narrative). At this point, it's two parties fighting over power as they circle the bottom of the toilet bowl.....

What this government needs is an enema.....

I don't disagree with you. democrats have been winning the social and cultural points of view for almost a century now, because it's so much easier to tell people want they want to hear rather than laying out the hard facts.

republicans just capitulate and continue to make the programs worse.
