How many have you introduced to guns?
#1
I have helped my wife see guns in a much different light than when she was a child. She was never anti gun but did not see the need for one. I will be helping her get her first as well as her ltcf this year.

I have also helped two friends ease into gun ownership. Both purchased their first guns last year. One is ready to pick up a carry gun and get his ltcf. The other may be ready for a handgun but his wife is a harder nut to crack.

I will be buying a new .22 handgun this year myself. It is shaping up to be a fun year for me. Can't wait to try out all the new guns in my little group.

How many have you turned to the "darkside".

I honestly have no idea. Too many to count and I'll continue to do it until my final days.

Directly? Only one, my daughter. Helped them learn more or further influenced them? I have no idea, too many to count. Some grabbed on to it and ran, others just went on their way. I don't push the subject just help nudge or encourage those who show interest.

I have a standing offer, in that I will teach anyone to shoot. To date, I've taught my wife, ex-wife, 3 kids, 1 grandkid, 4 neighbors, and a co-worker. I can only hope that someday I lead as many to Christ, for which, I have yet to do. Only have I helped others to do so.

Just learned today that my buddies wife is showing interest in going to the range with her husband. That is great news for him and adds another thing my family and his can do together.

A lot. Today I had a buddy from work who i first took to the range 2 years ago text me. He was asking for my address so he could use me as a reference for his ltcf. I took him to the oaks show the other week and he is p,anning on getting his first gun in the next two months or so.

His pace, but he's finally ready I think.

Wife, now wants to get her own permit. My son, he's eyeballing my Talo M1 10/22. A bunch of coworkers, all done behind enemy lines. I always try to promote the natural right to self defense and self sufficiency. After that, they're on their own. They can pursue the hobby and lifestyle or go back to being nanny state subjects.

I taught my wife to shoot and of course my son.

A few of my former coworkers also got into shooting/gun ownership due to my efforts.  Several also obtained a LTCF.

Nice!  Keep up the good work.  Bringing a low knowledge person shooting is the best way to convert them to being pro gun.
