And it's not the one I was trying to get you to guess a few weeks ago.

I wasn't going to post anything, but this forum is in dire need of gun discussion.

OK, details please.
A picture or two would be appreciated, do you have a camera?
If we're supposed to guess what this one is a hint or two would be appreciated.

Let me be the first to hazard a guess (or three):

Hey, without a hint, what did you expect?

The color is right and it's smaller than a bread box.

It's smaller than this:?

Can it be hidden under a modified Kleenex box?

It's a handgun.

Ammunition, it's the new lead bullion. Buy it cheap and stack it deep.

With room to spare. Smile

Kel-Tec P3AT (.380ACP)

Bought it locally from a private seller for $150 after I saw him reduce it from $200.

He bought it new and put 70 rounds through it.
Came with original box, papers, one additional mag with finger extension, and orig floorplate.

They seem to run about $230-$250 new, so I jumped on it for that price.

(Lots of room to spare).
They're about the same size as a Jennings J-22.

Welcome to the club!
I have two of them. I bought the first one for new retail price, ($240.00?) several years ago. Then I saw one for sale for $100.00, locally, private party. I jumped on it. I got about a half box of hollow point ammo with it and soon found out why he sold it so cheap. That ammo didn't run for shit in that gun. It didn't run for shit in my first P3AT either. Any other ammo I've tried runs good, (I'm glad he sold the gun instead of trying other ammo).
That's a nice little gun, I like the way it rides in my pocket. It's less obtrusive than my wallet, (NO, I don't have an obnoxiously big or heavy wallet). Some people say the recoil is too sharp or snappy but I don't find it to be uncomfortable. (I haven't fired more than 4 mags in a row from either one of them though, it may get uncomfortable after 25 or more rounds).
I haven't had a bit of trouble with either one with the exception of the ammo that came with the second one.Kel-Tec said their guns aren't rated for +P ammo. (I called them to ask because I happened upon a great deal on some ammo that runs a muzzle velocity of over 1100 FPS, pretty hot for a .380). Now I have a bunch of ammo I'm not going to use and I don't want to sell it. Don't ask me why, I'm just goofy about some things. (Maybe some day I'll get a .380 that's rated for +P ammo?)

I kinda have two of them. Sorta.

I have a P32 that I bought years ago - before the 380 version existed.
It's a perfect "summer gun" for shorts/no belt. After the P3AT came out I was bummed that I had the piddly little 32. Always wanted to get the 380, but just never got around to it.

I recall shooting a P3AT at a group shoot several years ago, but can't remember how the recoil was - I know it was sharper than my Colt Pony.

Gonna have to take it out and give it a try.

Thanks Rik. I had to look into that one just because it looks interesting.

P3AT. Well that explains why no pictures. Too small for the average camera to focus on. Big Grin
