I was public relation for years with Vietnam Veterans of America
in NYC. Had meeting with Mayor Dinkins & Ed Koch.
I never saw any security like Bloombergs .
There were some NYPD but they have/had an office there.
What came to mind -- Germany Secret Police.

That's because Bloomberg is paranoid he's going to piss someone off enough to try and take him out. Any politician who is doing shit that makes them feel they need armed security at all times is doing something seriously wrong.

Recently though I find the battle with insomnia becoming more of a new and overpowering problem. I've found it hard to sleep in the last month, almost everyone I know is in the same boat.

I hope this blows over, I need some sleep...

Yep, I have been feeling it too. In my life I have never seen such division among different groups but my heart is warmed to see unity like never before between firearm owners. To be honest I haven't felt so concerned about us since ever. Seeing how violent and demanding the liberals have been gives me pause as I worry they're looking for a way to tear this country down so they can rebuild it in their image.

The past month has also prodded me to join the NRA, write my elected officials for the first time and finally meet some forum members in the Pike county area for the first time. I have been too antisocial with members of the firearms community and I hope to change that.

I may end up being as familiar with my current state rep as I was with his predecessor. I can't say it would be a bad thing. He seems to be a good guy and is very supportive of the 2nd Amendment.

Even with all the panic hopefully some good things will come about from this, even if it takes awhile to realize.
