At least not for another 4 more years. Wink

....but in all seriousness, assuming there is no other tragic incident, I say middle of the summer at the very earliest. I also don't think they will be as "cheap" as what they were a year ago, but that's when the prices will bottom out again.

If this turns out to be a repeat of 08 by the time the next wave of product hits the shelves the demand will be gone and distributors and dealers will be overloaded with stuff they can't sell for the prices they paid.

Then I suppose it's a good thing they doubled the price during the panic, huh?

[/color]Not rape if you consent by buying. Pretend the buy is from a high class call girl, not a street walker.
I'm only here for the 'Foxes with Firearms' thread.

That's why I'm not buying anything now and am really glad I hoarded guns and ammo pre-panic. It's nice to be able to get nearly $1/round for .308 and .223! Big Grin Once the BS stops, all the mags, ammo, and black rifles should settle down in price.

Prices will rubber band below the prices of a year ago when demand drops off significantly and will rebound back to around normal prices once things even out again.

What will happen is that people that bought certain guns just because they may not be available to them ever again, but really don't shoot those types of guns, will be trying to resell them and will take a huge hit because the market will be flooded again with, LNIB or used ARs and AKs from other buyers that did the same thing. My purchases were made the night of November 6th. No one had the ability to see a school shooting happening a month later.

I'm also glad I stocked up over the summer in preparation for the election. I did get caught shorthanded with reloading supplies though and have spent a great deal of money the last two weeks on powder, primers and bullets to last through the year.
