Yeah live it before you talk about it. I work 7 days a week, 11 hour days and I'm very good at my trade. They work in crews, 5-6 guys for a rate that works out to 100-200 dollars less than me a job. I can finish a house a week, they can do three or four. Most companies employ a couple salaried touch up men to fix up their work. You might say "team up with some buddies and compete ". That would definitely work.... if I and my family and thier families all moved in together and shared expenses like the single, male illegals do.

I don't hate Mexicans. I don't like my livelihood being destroyed by illegals that have no intention of putting down roots here, contributing to community and appreciating what they are allowed to earn. Your compassion for fellow citizens that want to work and provide for their own families is touching.

Under the moral code that I believe in, thay aren't criminals for simply crossing a border. In my book, you have to hurt someone else to be a criminal, but I understand that I have a minority view.

So freedom should be easy? I'm glad our founding fathers didn't think that. They fought for their freedom to have a better life out from under the rule of a tyrannical government.

It would seem that mankind overall has lost it's soul, and I mean that worldwide. It really seems that no one wants to stand up and fight for their freedom, instead, they'd rather take the easy way out.

I see Mexico kind of like Detroit. Decades of voting in the worst possible government has turned it into a shithole. People are fleeing it in droves leaving nothing but the dregs behind. Sadly what happens is those people that flee come to a new area and start voting in the same kind of people that caused all the problems from whence they flew. NJidiots moving to PA are prime examples of this phenomenon.

I think Freedom should be as easy it can be. I don't why we should should intentionally make it difficult. I do agree with many of your points though.

It's kind of hard to compete against someone that isn't playing by the same rules that you are. Many of the illegals are working under the table, that means that taxes aren't being collected for their pay. That means the guy that hires them is able to bid much lower than his competition because he's not paying the taxes.

Meanwhile, the guys that are working here are taking their money and sending it back to mexico so that more of their relatives can come across the border illegally.

I don't care where they send their money, but I do agree that their should be a level playing field when it comes to taxes and regulations in the workplace.

I'm sorry my post was lacking compassion, but I don't have more compassion for you than I do for some other guy and his family just because he was born somewhere else. I try to judge people based on their character, regardless of where they were born. I do wish you luck in your career, and I hope the economy can be turned around so that everyone can do a little better financially.

Some folks brains have turned to mush....

What I take from this post is that we should be more like the totalitarian States. No thanks. And no, I don't support Welfare for illegal aliens or anyone for that matter. However, I do support their right to travel freely and pursue happiness. Just because you happened to be born on the right side of an invisible line on a map, shouldn't entitle you to disallow others from trying to support their family. If I was born in Mexico, I would damn well try to get to the US legally or illegally if it meant a better life for me and my family.

My post was made to show the sharp contrast of other nations around the world in dealing with an illegal intruder in their respective country's.If you take it as something else so be it.

Sadly alot of them do put down roots, but not to be loyal or partiots to the usa. To suck the government tit and breed like roaches with kids. Its ridiculous. I am all for having a family but when they should not even be here and their anchor babies eat up all the welfare and food stamps its an outrage those programs are supposed to be temporary for CITIZENS who need them. Anchor babies might be citizens but should not be. That would be one way we could stop it.

I feel for you man. You bust your tail and then because illegals or another contractor is hitting with a corked bat you get screwed. Hell my wife is an educator and has lost out of jobs because she cant speak spanish.

WHY THE HELL SHOULD I HAVE TO KNOW ANOTHER LANGUAGE IN MY OWN COUNTRY.

I here ya, they fucked alot of trades including mine. I am lucky to be skilled enough and been doing it long enough to still make a decent living.

I'm with throwing all illegals out, some people have a real problem comprehending what illegal means. IMO it make's no differance if your a drug dealer or you sneak into the country, both are illegal and should be delt with accordingly.
