In doubt: 40,000 convictions, thanks to police chemist’s Fraud
#1
Quote:Annie Dookhan, a chemist for the Massachusetts police, was sentenced to three to five years in prison after committing a fraud so extensive that her crimes call into question the validity of over 40,000 convictions.

Dookhan worked in a laboratory examining evidence in drug cases. She wa a go-to analyst for law enforcement and prosecutors, thanks to her rapid turnaround time and penchant for delivering much-needed drug evidence to score convictions.

Her record, however, was based on countless criminal fabrications. She falsified numerous reports, cut corners, forged signatures, inflated her credentials, lied about whether she was actually testing the lab samples she received and even tampered with evidence, according to NPR.

She just wanted to be good at her job, she said.

I think she should have 2x the penalty every person got as a result of her fraud. I'm sure it will equate to a life sentence. She potentially robbed thousands of people of YEARS, so she should pay in multiples.

Also, the Law Enforcement authority overseeing her division needs to be cleaned out, and criminal charges may need to be filed against the leaders for being criminally negligent in their oversight. Nobody should be able to actively participate in 40,000 cases without a thorough review. That's pure negligence.

Everyone touched by here needs to be immediately released, records expunged, paid, and counselled. Everyone who participated needs at least suspensions, up to terminations, and be out forward for criminal and civil liabilities.

She, after confessions, needs to be executed.

This the the quintessential better a thousand guilty men go free than one innocent man go to jail scenario.... shame on her. The sentence was no went long enough.

This is downright scary.
The only thing needed for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing.

Check this out: Bad Chemistry: Annie Dookhan And The Massachusetts Drug Lab Crisis.

This story is, no other way to put it, fucking amazing. I had never heard a peep about all of this until about a week ago. It's been going on for almost two years. Never one word anywhere. And I watch the 18:30 news every single night just to keep abreast of what the enemy is throwing out there to the sheeple.

It is simply impossible to grasp the harm this woman has done to people. Of course the MSM trots out a handful of stories about how much recidivism has occurred with some of the folks released due to these bad tests. But not much news about how much harm has been visited upon the multitude of innocents who were locked away because this crazy bitch wasn't doing her job.
