Inner-Family Pistol Transfer Question

I have blackpowder pistols that I bought cylinders for so I could fire centerfire ammo out of them. No FFL was ever involved and by law doesn't need to be. But esentially what I have is unregistered handgun...now what?

There's no registration in PA, and you are legally allowed to manufacture firearms (including handguns) for your own personal use. And it doesn't even need a serial number. There's nothing you need to do; you're perfectly legal, assuming you aren't prohibited and the firearm isn't classified as title II (NFA).

I know...what I'm trying to point out is loopholes.

I'm not trying to be an advocate of illegal activity, I've been through the TitleII hoops and everything else but there's a point where some of the hoops are just silly.

Please don't use the word "loophole," it's the law, and it's not there by accident. It's a specific exception that was written in the law by republicans when they were trying to compromise. Being a "loophole" is EXACTLY what the anti's want you to think it is.

I'm not aware there has ever been a law written without a loophole. Shrug

The word loophole implies that there an unintended way "around" the law that wasn't considered when the lawmakers wrote the bill. As opposed to an exception that was put in there intentionally. Anti's use the word loophole to make you think that the law wasn't written properly and needs to be "fixed." Such as the so-called gun show loophole.
