Interesting problem

When I log onto the forum from my tablet, it loads the mobile version like it's supposed to. When I log on from an actual computer, it's still in the mobile version and the link at the bottom to go to the full site doesn't do anything.

Just tested and it works here.

Is there a way to default to the Full Version on the Ipad?

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Pin. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then lobbest thou the Holy Hand Grenade in the direction of thine foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

The cookies are set to clear out everytime the computer shuts off. The full version link works on my tablet but not the computer. If I remember, I'll take a screen shot of what the mobile version looks like on a laptop.

yes.

user cp>edit options> and uncheck the option that says 'use a mobile version if I visit from a mobile device?'

it's probably wise to hit the 'clear cookies' button next to that option as well.

If you do an "in private" browsing session, is it still in mobile mode?

It's an Internet Explorer thing similar to Chromes "incognito"

Quote:For times when you want to browse in stealth mode, Google Chrome offers the incognito browsing mode. Here's how the incognito mode works:

Webpages that you open and files downloaded while you are incognito aren't recorded in your browsing and download histories.
All new cookies are deleted after you close all incognito windows that you've opened.

Changes made to your Google Chrome bookmarks and general settings while in incognito mode are always saved.
