Interviews with Obama Supporters

You have to listen to the audio.

Quote:Remember back in 2008 when shock jock Howard Stern had his associates conduct “man on the street” interviews with Obama supporters? We’re sure you do. The results were both hilarious and depressing (depending on your political persuasion, of course).

Why were the results of the 2008 experiment hilarious/depressing? Because it became painfully clear that many of the people interviewed by Stern’s team had absolutely no idea what they were talking about or why they were supporting candidate Obama.

And if you thought it was funny (and/or depressing) in 2008, you’ll really enjoy the 2012 edition. Yes, Stern’s cohort once again descends on Harlem to ask a fistful of Obama supporters about the president, his accomplishments, and his GOP rival Mitt Romney.

What did the Stern crew learn? Well, among other things, they discover Osama Bin Laden isn’t dead, Romney is pro-choice, Obama is pro-life, and Paul Ryan is Obama’s running mate.

Now, it would be unfair to say that the folks heard in the following video are representative of all Obama supporters. It’s a small group of very similar people. Even Stern admits they didn’t interview a diverse group. In addition, the interviewer does set up some of the questions in a leading way. So take the results with a grain of salt:

Exit Quote: Our favorite Obama accomplishment per one interviewee: “he got the medical thing going.”

It is sad... I listen to Howard and I find the show funny. I tend to tune out when he starts getting political because he's kind of stupid when it comes to politics. he just spouts off something he reads in an article without really researching it.

The problem with the Stern Show is that everyone in the studio is a NY liberal. There is only one person on the staff that stands up to them, Scott DePace. But there have been a number of times he's said something that made me embarrassed that I'm a Republican. DePace just can't win when it's 5+ against 1.

And to listen to Howard talk about guns is a joke. He's of the camp that ARs are not needed and blah, blah, blah... I finally heard for the first time, a couple months ago, Howard actually admitting that he owns guns and has an NYC carry permit. But it was quickly glossed over to move on to his rant about evil black rifles.

Of course he has his permit, he's NY royalty, his own feeling of self importance is how he rationalizes why he needs it and the average person shouldn't have one.

He's a hypocritical liberal scum, and I can't stand the shithead.

Regardless of your party affiliation, candidate choice or opinion of Howard, it's really scary to know that the people interviewed are actually going to be part of making a major political decision.

Help
There are three types of people in the world:
Those who make things happen,
Those who watch things happen,
And those who wonder what happened.

I don't listen to him, nor do I want to. I just posted this because of the idiots he was asking questions to. I don't care about what his views are on anything and I don't want to talk about him. These idiots are voting and they don't even know what they are voting for. Fuck Howard Stern. He can drive his car of a cliff and I wouldn't even care.
