IWB Mag Carrier Options?

I know what you are saying about the leather coming up, you want it to sit between your skin and the mag up to the baseplate right?
The reason I personally don't want that is because my skin moves, leather does not.
Grab a chunk of stiff ass cardboard, slip it down behind your belt and now slip a mag in between the belt and your skin, grab for it quickly and I'll bet your fingers come to an abrupt halt when they hit that cardboard. You now have to get a grip on the mag just using the tips of your fingers.

I've tried this, while most of the time I can get it, sometimes it takes effort and concentration, not every time, but enough that I don't trust it.

Now just put a mag in between your belt and grab for it, unless you are really ripped, your skin should give allowing you to get a better grip.

Maybe it's just me and the way I'm built.

But I do know what you mean about holster collecting.
Lots of wasted cash sitting in a drawer here as well.
Some people need to read this book: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1936976021/ref=...jwbZH1GAZF

With everybody's wasted holsters seems like there should be a website somewhere that allows people to trade equal value holsters back and forth!

I figure if the leather seems to make it too hard to get a good grip on my mag it's easy enough to have it trimmed down anyway. Of course if I'm at the point where I need to grab spare mags in a hurry I'm probably in deep shit. 99.999% of the time I'll never need a spare mag in a hurry in every day life and I figure if I need to use my sidearm the chance I'll need a reload is even more infinitesimal. Besides, we're talking .45acp, one shot will blow a man's head clean off so who needs to reload?Big Grin.

I look at holster collecting as part of the process. It takes a while to find that perfect setup. Hell I've got holster for guns I don't even own anymore haha!

I have no interest for an IWB mag carrier, but Black Dog Concealment (from PENNSYLVANIA) has them.
