James Brady is Dead
#1
Quote:(CNN) -- James Brady, a former White House press secretary who was severely wounded in the 1981 assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan and later became a prominent gun-control advocate, has died.
Brady died at 73 following a series of health issues, his family said in a statement on Monday.

James Brady, former Reagan press secretary, gun-control advocate, dies

He probably did more to get people killed by denying them the right of self-defense than anyone else in the past few decades.

Seemed like a very decent guy who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. While I obviously disagree with his wife I more than understand.

I'd like to see the court ruling when this goes through the system.

The man may have died an earlier death than he would have, but who's to say that all the medical care and follow ups over the years didn't give him a longer life span than he might have normally had if he wasn't shot in the first place.

A lot of people don't live to 73 and you know damn well he had docs at his beck and call 24/7.
I don't suffer from insanity.
I enjoy every minute of it.
