Judge halts Pa.'s voter ID requirement
#11
I believe the judge who signed this was a Republican who actually initially approved it.

The Supreme Court stated in Bush V. Gore that there is "no constitutional right to vote for president". That being the case there is good argument that the voter Id law was valid at least for the presidential aspect.

Second of all I hear people talking about the poor and stuff like that. I am sorry, but if someone cant afford a $20 id then they probably are living off the taxpayer anyway and really have no reason voting. I have nothing against people down on their luck but we have generational public assistance dependency and these "people" vote for liberals who will keep giving them our hard earned money.

When we lost the right to qualify voters with the voting rights act ( yes discrimination was wrong but so is the mob rule we have now)

I think in todays time no one has an excuse not to know how to read. IF someone cant read the ballot ( unless they are blind) then they really should not be voting. People who are living totally on the generosity of the taxpayer ( unless short term down on their luck and I am not counting things like disability or social seurity as you work for those) should not be voting on how to cut up the money.

I also think a basic civics test on the political system is in order. If soeone cannot name one supreme court justice or their candidate's stand on an issue they probalby should not be voting.

I think this judge is not only a disgrace to PA but to the nation and his mama.

And Al Franken owes his congress critter seat to over 1000 felons voting illegally.

And lets not forget Philadelphia. One canidate for office had 25 people registered at his 2 story row home back in the early 90's.

Al Franken would have gave up his seat had he any honor but this is a liberal democrat and they dont.

Now with the 35 people registered at his 2 story home. That has to be a lie. I thought philly was mostly black. Places like Arizona have houses with 25 people in them usually illegal mexicans. They sure can pack them. I had seen a video of 15 packed into the bed of a ford ranger in california.

Ah yes, because the courts should just allow legislation to immediately affect presidential elections when doing so does not allot enough time for properly putting the law into effect. Dodgy

Good point. Only when it will keep obama out of office though then I would support it.
