Just a yes or no will do.

To those of you leaning toward voting for Romney, you need to ask yourself, will Romney get rid of the Patriot Act, the DHS, the TSA, and the provision in the NDAA that lets the federal gov. take an American citizen living in America, put him in prison, without charge or trial, indefinatly.

Go ask the Romney campaign or even Romney himself, for a definitive answer, a simple, YES or NO, and not any doublespeak.

You owe it to yourself for an answer before you vote.

Low taxes and jobs are meaningless, without the freedom and liberties to enjoy them.

How about ask the same question of BOTH candidates.

Obama actually EXECUTES US citizens without trial. And we already know he does that, so a hypothetical "what do you THINK person X would do?" falls short of the mark.

This is the real world. Many questions do not have a yes or no answer. And sometimes the answer is the lesser of two evils.

No

Romney and Obama probably would not do that. However I also think Romney will not sign any more gun control bills into law, but Obama will. I also think Romney will better the economy considering he knows how to successfully run businesses. That's why I am voting for Romney. Bottom line: He is not the best candidate to represent my beliefs, but he is the one who has the best chance at beating Obama. RON PAUL AND GARY JOHNSON CANNOT DEFEAT OBAMA! I'm sorry for crushing a lot of people's hearts, but realistically speaking, that is the truth. I know people are going to say that if the entire Republican party and all conservatives and all libertarians back Ron Paul or Gary Johnson then they could win. However that is not going to happen. Other people are going to say, I know Ron Paul or Gary Johnson can't win, but I am going to vote for them anyways because it makes me feel good about myself, while others will not vote in general. Some people's logic is a vote for anybody but Obama is a vote that is not for him. That's a true statement, but it still doesn't really favor Romney that much. Look, obviously everybody on here is pissed at the president for infringing our constitutional rights and running the economy deeper into the ground. We all know nobody is going to vote for Obama here. The least you can do is just go vote for Romney. If he screws up his first term, then give Ron Paul and Gary Johnson something to use as fuel to campaign in 2016 with. Like I mentioned, we all know there is NOTHING worse than an Obama 2nd term. ....and he WILL come for our gun rights.

Bingo. Romney may or may not get rid of all that. Obama, however, has added to it. Even worse is how he's gotten away with so much with so little media coverage, so his administration is even less transparent than any other so far.

Call for hypotheticals all you want, Obama's demonstrated as a fact what he'll do and continue to do.

The added benefit to Romney being elected, is that any slightly questionable thing he does will be broadcast loud and clear by the media, whereas anything remotely questionable Obama does is swept under the rug so as not to make him look bad.

We can align with the Nazis (vote Obama)

We can align with the Soviets (vote Romney)

We can stand alone (vote third party, not vote)

We aren't going to beat the Nazis if we stand alone. We need the help of the Soviets. Once we beat the immediate threat, then we can work on the Soviets.

I see a shift in the Republicans with the Tea Party. Whether that shift will translate into a realignment of the party or a split of the party is inconsequential at this point.

Ultimately, what matters right now, is stopping the greatest threat to everything we hold dear. You aren't going to get a revolution and if you do it's going to be a communist revolution.

See Obama for what he is and quit this silly dance. Another four years and there will be no chance of recovery. Those that hold to the ideals of this country will be in the minority and will never win an election again.

We are on the verge of a paradigm shift.

And to further that, a candidate like Ron Paul will stand LESS of a chance than they do not, if they're even allowed to run at all. In fact, I say that after a 2nd term Obama there will be no chance of a Ron Paul republican. At all.

I hate sounding like a doom and gloomer, but I look at it this way:

Obama is making it clear that this election is mainly about Government expansion at the expense of the rich, and the redistribution of wealth under the guise of "paying your fair share."

What was the 2008 election mainly about? Free healthcare.

Guess what we got?

Who thinks history will not repeat itself in term 2?

Businesses sole purposes are to make money. That shouldn't be the stated purpose of a government. The employees, vendors, and management at WalMart are not part of a democracy. They are ruled.

You can't claim they are ruled if they choose to be there. Nobody forces anyone to shop at or work at Walmart or anywhere else.

To run a business, you have to manage outgo vs income. Obama has proven he has positively no clue what a budget is, or how to use one. By creating many successful businesses, it is obvious Romney knows what they are and can turn a red ledger black.

I agree that they choose to be there. And when our government is run as a for-profit enterprise, forsaking our freedom and quality of life (as business does, for the sake of the dollar), I will have to decide whether or not I want to be here.

Romney has turned red ledgers black by buying overseas factories where there is little to no government oversight and he can pay people less than our minimum wage, while storing money in offshore tax shelters. How would that help America?
