Karl Rove--time to go!
#1
"Conservative activist Richard Viguerie said in a statement Wednesday that 'in any logical universe,' Rove 'would never be hired to run or consult on a national campaign again and no one would give a dime to their ineffective Super PACs, such as American Crossroads.'" Reuters.

Karl raised and spent about $300 million: only one of the ten senate candidates he supported won, and of course Romney lost. The WSJ wrote today that Romney lost because he did not have enough money in the summer, but during that time the Karl and other Republican Super PACS spent $50 million more than the Democrats. Time for Karl to go!

Did I say that? No, it's not Rove's fault Romney lost, but that $300 million could have gotten a better electoral return!

This article is sour grapes. With a WEAK candidate the R's still came within 1.5% of the national vote, and just a few % points here and there.

With a GOOD candidate, the R's would have won easily.

Even the presidential election he helped win was a failure. Big Grin That Washington outsider, son of a former president, who ran as a conservative but expanded the size of government and loved spending and wars.

Karl Rove is a scumbag.
We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. - Patrick Henry

Of course he's a scum bag. He is a politician.

All politicians are scum bags. Never, ever forget that.

No, Rove is not a politician in the sense that he has been a candidate for elective office. He's been a campaign manager, Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President [GWBush] and in 2010 he became an advisor to American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS.

Rove and his Super PACS are an alternative to the Republican Party finance structure. An expensive and failed alternative. I have no doubt he pays himself well, and I'd love to see Fox and the WSJ drop him as a "respected comentator." I agree he is a scumbag--an incompetent one at that. I agree with Viguerie on that point!
