Nothing on his site makes me want to read about him. Anyway...if you're going to run Libertarian, you better be top notch, and you better do things right (including your website), because the country is still basically two-party.

I cannot disagree with that one. It's a clear barrier and if you're not willing to put in what it takes to overcome it then you are wasting your time. I wonder if he's a plant.. An no the guy in VA wasn't a plant.

No, the reason you need a good website is:

- You can't put a party platform in 140 characters, so you need a website -- because you can't rely on Facebook to keep your site up and you can't fit your content in Twitter
- You have the first depth of pages to a 6th grade reading level (leave the pie charts to two clicks in); the large masses seeing the front door should see clean and simple and they can fish for want they want to explore you.
- Nothing but platitudes on the front page, social media links and retouched stock photos of yourself and maybe a news blotter and a donation widget.

Or just rip off Gary Johnson's site: http://www.garyjohnson2012.com/front

Almost agree. 3rd grade reading level for the first page on what you believe (because loads of people just finished or didn't finish high school and have never read anything technical since and even if you have you want the bottom line stuff first and in-depth later, if it sparks your interest), Links to 6th grade reading level material (because there are multitudes of college grads that have never read anything beyond an invoice and emails since graduating) then links to 12+ grade reading level material (for people that read a lot and/or want to know details).

I like his stance on guns:

In Brief...
When it comes to Gun Control:

Gun control kills.
The Pennsylvania Constitution mandates, "The right of the Citizen to bear arms for defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned."
Passing more gun control laws would not help. Criminals don't care about breaking a law.
Facts show that supporting the right to keep and bear arms reduces crime and homicides.
Handguns are a girl's best friend.

How did Florida achieve this boon, you may ask? How did they reduce their handgun homicide rate to its lowest level since 1933? What did Florida do in 1987 that started their contrarian trend?

They made it legal to carry a concealed handgun.

Surprised? I was shocked; I couldn't believe it at first. But the statistics are there, plain as day. An armed society is a safer society, 41% safer. Some local communities have eliminated over 90 percent of gun deaths that way. But don't take my word for it; ask the FBI.

If the problem your solving is to save as many innocent lives as possible, there is one incontrovertible, inescapable conclusion: gun control kills.
