I have 3 holsters from Spartan Village that I just measured with calipers and they are all .06 thick. One of these has served as my every day concealment rig for the last 9 months. The only problem ive experienced is the screws coming loose that hold the loops on. A little threadlocker took care of that.

I have a .06 and a .08 holster. I can tell the difference between the two. In my opinion, the .06 is not of inferior quality to the .08. The .08 is noticeably thicker. If deep concealment/a snug fit is a concern, the .06 might have a hair of an advantage over the .08 but not by much.

I make my holsters using .08". I have used .06, but feel that the thicker kydex just makes for a better looking product. Your BlackDog holster looks nice, but I would have provided longer screws for the adjustable loops. You might run the chance of stripping them or having them come lose.

It's a really nice holster and is perfect for concealed carry in an OWB holster. I will do an in depth review after I get my 1.5" thick horsehide belt from the beltman. With the crappy belt I have now, I don't want to make this holster look bad in any way due primarily to the belt. Before I write my official review in a few weeks, I will say that for $35, you cannot go wrong at all buying one of these!
