Lansdale: Robbery suspect arrested when he fills out gun permit

LANSDALE — A suspect in the strong-armed robbery of a coin-shop owner walked into the hands of Lansdale police Tuesday.
Michael A. Creciun, 21, of Lansdale, walked into the borough police station to fill out an application for a gun permit. Only an hour earlier, the 77-year-old owner of Hen’s Coins had identified Creciun as one of the two men who entered his shop Monday morning, assaulted and threatened him with a knife as they took coins from the store.
