1986 SWD M11/9. Already switched out the upper with the side cocker. Lage .22lr kit already in possession, but I need a barrel alignment to get it running. The plan is to have a dedicated .22 upper (using the side cocker shown in the picture) and to use the Lage Max-11 for 9mm. Some more lage goodies on the way now, including a new stock and pistol grip. Also will be ordering a vertical foregrip from US Machine Gun soon.

Whenever you cough up the roughly $100 you'll spend on ammo and range time to shoot 5 mags worth. Wink

I thought you were getting a.22 conversion for it? Tongue

I have the .22 kit already. But the upper needs to be sent to the manufacturer of the 22 kit to get aligned. This is normal, and expected, to get these things running in .22lr. It's a crudely made stamped steel gun with horribly loose tolerances, and we all know how finicky 22's can be.

Additionally, the upper and 22 kit need to be sent to another company that will properly thread it for use with my .22 suppressor.

So for now it's strictly 9mm, which is expensive and requires me to go to Clayton's to shoot. But in about 6-8 weeks, I'll be able to shoot this baby with 22 suppressed, full auto, in my back yard. Cool You are invited to shoot it whenever you want, just call.

Oh yeah, and eventually it will look similar to this:

It would be cool if it could be fitted onto a registered full-auto lower. Better yet, if it took the 50 round PS90 mags.

I actually want it specifically because it takes the FN Pistol magazines. I have 18 of them for my FsN pistol....so the MPA 5.7mm carbine would perfectly compliment my pistol.

Yeah, that would be a great alternative to the PS90, at least cost-wise. And the fact that it shares the same mags. Hopefully you'll be able to do something about the looks though...kinda seems like a Frankengun or something.
